Home fragrance
Scent is the quickest way to change the mood of a room without moving a single piece of furniture. In the evening you want something warm and enveloping, in the morning something fresh, and in the hallway or bathroom a fragrance that simply works on its own.
How to choose
Fragrance diffusers scent the air all the time, with no flame. Reed sticks, a stone you drip oil on, or an electric mist diffuser — for the living room, bedroom, bathroom or office.
Scented candles give scent and light at once. Light one when you want to slow down: for the evening, a bath, a dinner.
Gift sets come in decorative boxes, ready to hand over — for a birthday, the holidays or a housewarming.
Which scent for which room
In the bedroom, go for soft powdery and floral notes — lavender, musk, white tea. Warmer blends of vanilla, wood and amber suit the living room. Bathrooms and hallways like freshness: citrus, greenery, marine notes. Place a strong scent further from where you sit, and a lighter one closer.
