Cotton bedding for every day and for years
Cotton is the most popular bedding fabric, and for good reason: it breathes, absorbs moisture, doesn't build up static and copes well with frequent washing. Under cotton you are not too hot in summer or too cold in winter, and the fabric gets softer with every wash.
This category gathers our cotton sets, from simple everyday poplin to Egyptian cotton satin. They differ in weave, and it is the weave that decides how the bedding looks and how it feels to sleep in.
Types of cotton in our sets
Ranforce is a dense plain weave, matt and hard-wearing. The Rosemary, Duko and Chanel sets in 160×220 cost 390 zł, and Bavori and Alura in 200×220 come with a warm blanket.
Poplin is thin, smooth and cool to the touch. The Supra line comes in 200×220, 160×220 and a children's 100×150, always with a sheet.
Cotton satin is the same cotton, woven so that more threads lie on the surface. It gives the soft sheen and smoothness people choose satin bedding for. Most of our sets are satin, from 200 to 400 TC.
Egyptian cotton has a longer fibre, so it spins into a finer, stronger thread. See Egyptian cotton bedding.
Flannel is cotton with a brushed surface, warm from the first moment. For winter, choose flannel bedding.
Sizes and sets
Most sets come in 200×220 for a double bed: a duvet cover, pillowcases and usually a sheet. For a single duvet choose 160×220, and for a child the 100×150 set. Some sets also include a bedspread, so the bed looks made straight away. Prices start at 225 zł for a children's set and 390 zł for a 160×220 set.
How to wash cotton bedding
Wash at 30–40 °C, inside out, with the buttons or zip fastened. Don't over-dry: take the bedding out slightly damp and iron it on the reverse. Satin and flannel prefer a gentle spin, and bleach weakens the fibres of any cotton. We write more about choosing the fabric in our guide to cotton bedding.
