Embroidered bedding
Embroidery is the one decoration a print cannot fake: the threads are sewn into the cloth, so the pattern does not fade or rub away with the colour. It looks best on smooth satin — the sheen of the ground brings out the texture of the stitch.
In our sets the embroidery usually runs along the edge of the duvet cover and the pillowcases: a narrow border, a botanical or geometric motif. This is bedding for a bedroom where the linen is meant to be the decoration rather than the background — and a classic wedding present.
Mostly available in the 200×220 size, often in six-piece sets with a sheet, some with a bedspread. For a bolder pattern, see ornaments and florals.
Wash inside out at 30–40 °C and iron from the reverse so the stitch keeps its relief.
