Bedding with a bedspread
A bedspread finishes the look of a bed: the creased duvet disappears under it and the bedroom looks tidy even when nobody made the bed to the millimetre. In these sets the bedspread is matched to the linen — the same pattern, or a colour chosen to go with it — so there is nothing left to hunt for separately.
A set with a bedspread usually holds six or seven pieces: a 200×220 duvet cover, a sheet, pillowcases and a spread for the whole bed. Fabrics are satin and cotton, patterns run from plain to floral and ornamental.
It is also the most striking option for a gift: in the box it looks like a bedroom set rather than just bed linen.
