Six hundred grams of alpaca wool per square metre — the most in the collection. It is a duvet for frosty nights: for those who sleep with the window ajar, in an unheated bedroom or simply often feel the cold. Thick as it is, it does not turn into a sauna — the wool lets moisture out, so you do not wake up sweaty under it. If your bedroom is warm all year round, though, the all-season duvet is enough, or the “4 seasons” set, which gives the same warmth in winter and can be separated in summer. Warmth is personal: it depends on the temperature at home, what you sleep in and your own habits.

Wool that adjusts to you

Alpacas live high in the Andes, where frost turns into scorching heat within a day. Their fleece has adapted to this and changes its behaviour with the temperature. In a duvet it works like this: when you are cool it warms you, and when your body heats up it stops.
The wool absorbs moisture but does not hold on to it — it passes it straight out, so it stays dry under the duvet and you do not sweat. Alpaca wool contains no lanolin, the animal fat many allergy sufferers react to, which is why people with allergies and asthma tolerate it well.
Quilted by hand

The duvet is quilted by hand, not by machine, and a hand stitch follows a different logic. The filling lies in an even layer and does not bunch up in the corners. Warmth spreads over the whole surface, and no cold strips form along the seams, as they can in machine-quilted duvets.
A cotton cover

On the outside is 100% natural, densely woven cotton: light, breathable, silky to the touch, with a soft natural sheen. The fabric is white, finished with white piping; the piping comes in white or in blue with a pattern.
Loops in the corners

Small loops are sewn into every corner and the middle of every side. If your duvet cover has ties, the duvet is tied to them and stops bunching up inside, and its corners no longer slip out of the cover's corners. The same loops tie two duvets into one — an all-season and a summer duvet together make a winter one.
Care
Air the duvet outdoors. If it needs cleaning, take it to a gentle dry cleaner. Do not machine-wash it: alpaca wool felts, and washing against the label voids the right to a complaint.
Made to order

The duvet is sewn by hand after you order it. We ship it within 14 business days by DPD courier, to addresses in Poland only. The 180x200 duvet weighs 3.3 kg and arrives in a cardboard box with a handle.
