“4 seasons” is two alpaca wool duvets in the same size: a summer one (200 g/m²) and an all-season one (400 g/m²). In summer you sleep under the summer duvet, in spring and autumn under the all-season one, and in winter you tie them together into one duvet as warm as a winter one. It is the simplest choice if you do not know how warm you will be: instead of guessing between three duvets, you have all three in one set. It also costs less than a summer and an all-season duvet bought separately.

Wool that adjusts to you

Alpacas live high in the Andes, where frost turns into scorching heat within a day. Their fleece has adapted to this and changes its behaviour with the temperature. In a duvet it works like this: when you are cool it warms you, and when your body heats up it stops.
The wool absorbs moisture but does not hold on to it — it passes it straight out, so it stays dry under the duvet and you do not sweat. Alpaca wool contains no lanolin, the animal fat many allergy sufferers react to, which is why people with allergies and asthma tolerate it well.
Both quilted by hand

Both duvets are quilted by hand, not by machine. The filling lies in an even layer and does not bunch up in the corners, warmth spreads over the whole surface, and no cold strips form along the seams. Laid together they make no lumps — one rests on the other like a single thick duvet.
A cotton cover

On the outside is 100% natural, densely woven cotton: light, breathable, silky to the touch, with a soft natural sheen. The fabric is white, finished with white piping; the piping comes in white or in blue with a pattern.
How to join the two duvets

Small loops are sewn into every corner and the middle of every side of both duvets. Lay one duvet on the other and tie them at these points — you get one duvet as warm as a winter one that does not slide apart. The same loops tie the duvet to the tapes inside a duvet cover, so it does not bunch up inside and its corners stay in the cover's corners.
Care
Air the duvets outdoors. If they need cleaning, take them to a gentle dry cleaner. Do not machine-wash them: alpaca wool felts, and washing against the label voids the right to a complaint.
